Born on 7th December 1987, two minutes after his twin sister, Angel, Aaron is the youngest of the Carter clan. Early on, it was inevitable that he would follow in the footsteps of his famous brother. At the age of seven, he formed a band named Dead End with three class mates from the Rock School in Tampa. The band played in the school library and at local cafes.
Unfortunately, the band split, due to different tastes in music. Aaron started to seriously concentrate on perfecting his performing skills and he spent numerous hours with a vocal coach. It was during a special appearance at a Backstreet Boys concert in March 1997 that Aaron Carter was signed a record deal. His first single, "Crush On You" entered the charts at number 6 in October 1997. And the rest, they say, is history.
